The Administrative Services group operates within the Şırnak University Department of Information Technology, ensuring correspondence, staff notifications, and necessary coordination in the administrative section of our university.

Services Provided by the Unit

  • Preparing the budget of our department and monitoring it throughout the year. Carrying out the financial accounting processes of the department, keeping the inventory accounting records, and reporting year-end accounts. Preparing technical specifications for products to be purchased. Monitoring and managing maintenance, repair, and licensing processes.
  • Organizing the unit archive and disposing of expired documents, ensuring the delivery of necessary documents to institutional and state archives, and delivering documents produced by our department to the relevant places.
  • Keeping protocol email lists updated for bulk mail operations.
  • Updating appointments, resignations, surname changes, and title changes in the system as notified by the Academic Personnel Office.
  • Ensuring the removal of users who are no longer affiliated with the university to keep the information system updated and dynamic.
  • Assisting academic staff with issues they encounter while updating their web pages. Sometimes performing updates directly, providing information about the settings of the related program, and enabling them to perform updates themselves.
  • Updating and announcing changes made in the University Management Board and Senate lists and other management changes on the website.
  • Tracking incoming and outgoing correspondence, drafting and filing departmental documents.
  • Carrying out the secretarial duties of the department.
