A comprehensive BİGDES audit was conducted at our university by an expert audit team in order to evaluate information and communication security processes.
During the two-day audit process, the university’s information systems, data processing processes, and infrastructure components were examined on-site for compliance with the Information and Communication Security Guide published by the Presidency Digital Transformation Office. Throughout the audit, the security level of existing systems, access controls, data protection mechanisms, and operational processes were evaluated in detail.
In addition, the compliance of the ongoing practices with the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System was also reviewed, and the university’s information security approach was analyzed from a holistic perspective. In line with the evaluations carried out, recommendations for strengthening the existing structure were shared, contributing to the further enhancement of institutional security capacity.
The successful completion of the audit process demonstrated the effectiveness of the university’s efforts in the field of information security and served as an important indicator of its commitment to establishing a secure, sustainable, and standards-compliant IT infrastructure.
Efforts aimed at improving information and communication security practices, increasing compliance with national and international standards, and enhancing institutional security capacity continue with determination at our university.
